Back in 2013, Tupac’s mother — Afeni Shakur — was still charge of the Shakur Estate when she filed the lawsuit against Entertainment One to get the master recordings back. Although Afeni passed away in 2016, she’d likely be relieved the fight for her son’s music is finally over.

As of now, it’s undetermined what the plans are for the music.

It’s been 22 years since Tupac’s fatal Las Vegas shooting.

The murder remains unsolved.
