Mystikal turned himself in to Louisiana authorities on Monday (August 21) and was booked on charges of first-degree rape at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department. Meanwhile, his alleged accomplice, Tenichia Wafford, has reportedly turned herself in as well. She’s being accused of strong-arming the alleged victim into dropping the charges and is being held on a $200,000 bond.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Wafford claims the woman Mystikal allegedly raped told her it never happened.
“Ain’t nobody did nothing to that girl,” Wafford said. “For real. She even told me — yes, I got it on record — that she said that ain’t nobody did nothing to her.”
Wafford is wanted for allegedly being an accessory after the fact, but she’s adamant she only called the woman because they were friends.
“This is some bullshit though,” she said. “They done threw me for a loop ’cause if I woulda knew all this, I wouldn’t have even called. I just called and was checking up on a friend. That’s all I was doing.”
She continued, “She’s trying to protect her boyfriend because she ditched him all night to be with another nigga. Now all of a sudden, somebody hurt her, but when I called her and asked her if somebody hurt her, she said nobody hurt her.”
According to police, another man, Averweone Holman, was also charged in connection with the crime, which stems from a 2016 incident. According to a press release, an investigation found DNA evidence that linked the two men to the alleged rape.
