Los Angeles, CA – For the fourth film in the critically-acclaimed “MAGNIFY” documentary film series, Common, the MC’s MC, is helping shed light on the inner-city mission to save the youth through learning the art of boxing.

The doc chronicles the lives of Ragahleak “Peanut” Bartee and Quincey Williams’ who inhabit Washington, D.C.’s Ward 8 neighborhood as part of the Lyfe Style Boxing training program. From there, Coach Walt Manigan mentors the youths onward to the path to the 2017 Junior Olympics, all the while keeping the real-life hardships free of film editing.

They Fight is an incredibly powerful film – one that we knew had to be a part of the ‘Magnify’ series,” Charlie Dixon, Executive Vice President, Content, FOX Sports said via press release. “It fits perfectly within our mission to use sports as a lens for telling important cultural stories. We’re happy with what we’ve accomplished in one year and excited to keep growing this brand with fresh, new documentaries and influential collaborators.”

Common and his Freedom Road Productions produced the film alongside director Andrew Renzi, who both linked with Argent Pictures’ past and present star athlete partners, Drew Brees, Tony Parker, Derrick Brooks, and Michael Finley.
