Atlanta, GA – Jacquees proved simply how assured he’s about being the King of R&B when he boldly doubled down on his declare in entrance of R&B royalty Keith Sweat.
TMZ caught Sweat backstage throughout Atlanta’s V-103 Winterfest live performance on the State Farm Arena over the weekend and requested Sweat about Jacquees’ self-proclaimed title.
Before Sweat might even spit out a solution, Jacquees ran as much as him and mentioned, “Wait, wait, wait. He’s the king from back then, I’m the king right now. This is Keith Sweat. Big Sweat. But it’s Big Quee, Big Quee.”
Sweat advised Jacquees to carry up, saying, “I’m still getting that bag. I don’t know what he talking about.”
Jacquees replied, “He getting a bag, but 16 to 25 is my generation. I’m the king!”
The cameraman requested Sweat if he was prepared to go the torch, however Sweat headed again in his dressing room with out providing a reply. Off-camera, somebody in Sweat’s entourage mentioned, “There ain’t no torch to pass. Man, cut that camera off.”
Jacquees sparked the King of R&B debate earlier this month when he took his proclamation to Instagram. Since then, R. Kelly, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Tory Lanez and a slew of different celebrities have weighed in, together with famed comic Dave Chappelle who (reluctantly) gave the crown to Kellz.
