Russell Simmons wasn’t precisely thrilled with Tiffany Haddish’s thought of a police brutality protest. In an Instagram submit earlier this week, the breakout Girls Trip actress claimed she was going to maintain sporting fur till one thing modifications.
“‘I’m gonna wear fur every day until the police stop killing black people,” Haddish says within the video. “When police stop killing Black people, I’ll stop wearing fur. It’s my new protest. So sorry PETA, don’t be mad at me! Be mad at the police!”

Simmons ultimately empathized with Haddish’s place and posted an Instagram submit elaborating on his stance. Although the Happy Vegan creator nonetheless considers Haddish’s option to put on fur “misguided,” he understands why she’s taking this route.
“I received so many calls from my friends in the animal rights community saying why did she choose fur as her form of protest,” he wrote within the caption. “Yes folks i agree that the struggling of any of Gods harmless dwelling beings is horrible And un known as for ..household please perceive ..Hurt folks Hurt folks The Black group is hurting And they need to not really feel like they must go it alone.
“I do agree that in my many times protesting police brutality i have seen the same people who occupied wall street the same people whom i encountered at the women’s march and the same people who i have seen at animal rights events We are the compassionate ones that we are waiting for …we must stand up for each other… Please let’s all be sensitive to ALL suffering and although i think the form of protest is misguided i do acknowledge that it is a call for help ….do you?”
