Lil Uzi Vert shocked his followers final week when he introduced he was accomplished with music and simply needed to be “normal.” Now, the “XO Tour Llif3” mastermind has revealed why he made the brash choice.
In an Instagram video posted over the weekend, Lil Uzi defined his label state of affairs is guilty.
“Y’all talking about drop something,” he stated. “I’m tryna drop one thing. I dropped ‘New Patek.’ That shit ain’t getting leaked. I’ve been tryna drop one thing new. Bro, that is my life now. All I can do is make music and sit again and watch for y’all response and make visions to this shit. You suppose I don’t wanna drop music? You simply gotta perceive when folks don’t love you, they’ll maintain your life in the event you signal a muthafuckin’ … Hold that shit towards you.
“And that go for the streets too. You ain’t supposed to sign no muthfuckin’ paper in the streets because that’s rattin. How the fuck I even sign this shit as a deal. Muthafucka set myself up. What other way I was suppose to let this shit go? Shit, it be all good at first just like them muthafuckin’ rats. Mutahfucka be right out of jail.”
As Lil Uzi stated his goodbyes to his supporters final week, he thanked his loyal followers however claimed he’d deleted the fabric supposed for his lengthy awaited Eternal Atake album.
“I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supports but I’m done with music,” he stated. “I deleted everything I wanna be normal. I wanna wake up in 2013.”
Eternal Atake would function Lil Uzi’s follow-up to 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2 Only time will inform if the brand new album will see the sunshine of day.
